Introduction

Sports for Peace, a project of the Peace Dream Foundation, is a collection of grass-roots sports programs that support peace by providing opportunities for youth in marginalized communities to develop athletic skill and character through sports. Our work is focused on creating sporting opportunities for youth, yet there is an equally clear emphasis on promoting healthy lifestyles and good sportsmanship. In this way, we promote the health and success of young athletes on and off the playing field.
